RiftStorm.gg (“RiftStorm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a fan-made companion website for the Riftbound trading card game, offering a deck builder, card database, collection tracker, guides, and community tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and what we do with it. By using RiftStorm.gg you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.

We only collect what we need to run the site:

• Account information — the email address, username, and password you provide when you register. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash; we never store or see your plain-text password.
• Content you create — decks, guides, profile bio and avatar, collection and wishlist entries, trade binders, votes, and comments. Content you mark as public is visible to others.
• Newsletter — if you subscribe, the email address you submit.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregate analytics events (pages viewed, features used, approximate performance and device/browser type) that help us understand what to improve.
• Local preferences — settings such as your display currency, stored in your browser.

We do not collect payment card details, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

We use the information above to:

• Create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
• Save and display your decks, collection, binders, and other content;
• Send the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• Understand usage in aggregate so we can fix issues and improve features;
• Prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content for advertising.

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage entries that are essential to how the site works — for example, to keep you logged in and to remember preferences like your display currency. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to measure usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.

We share information only in limited ways:

• Service providers — infrastructure partners that host and operate the site (for example, our hosting and database provider) process data on our behalf under their own terms.
• Public content — anything you choose to publish (public decks, guides, profile, public trade binders) is visible to anyone.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Card information, images, and pricing shown on RiftStorm.gg are sourced from third parties (including official Riftbound game data and marketplaces such as TCGplayer). That data is provided for reference and may be inaccurate or out of date. The site may also link to external websites we do not control, and their privacy practices are their own.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete specific content it is removed from the site. If you want your account and associated personal data deleted, contact us and we will handle the request. Some minimal records may be retained where required for security or legal reasons.

You can, at any time:

• View and edit your profile, bio, and preferences in your account settings;
• Edit or delete decks and other content you have created;
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email;
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. We honor valid requests under applicable law — just reach out.

RiftStorm.gg is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords and serving the site over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site. Your continued use of RiftStorm.gg after an update means you accept the revised policy.
